Duty Tire & Service Center has job openings available for a Tow Truck Driver! We're looking for honest, dedicated, customer-service oriented people to join our team in Triangle, NC.

Tow truck operators provide customers with jump starts, locksmith services, and tire changes in addition to towing services. It's important to us that our tow truck drivers represent our company as competent and attentive to customer needs.

The Tow Truck Driver will be responsible for:

Operating a towing or service vehicle
Engaging in courteous, helpful conversation with vehicle owners and operators
Prompt and thorough communication with co-workers
Completing paperwork and documentation
Using problem solving skills, including basic math

Applicants are required to be:

At least 21 years old/li>
Recipients of a high school diploma or GED/li>
In possession of a valid Class C drivers license, with a satisfactory driving record/li>
Experienced in operating a tow truck/li>
Able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles/li>
Dependable, honest and outgoing/li>
Available to work weekends and some holidays/li>

I'm a big fan of Duty Tire and Auto. I learned of it from my son who learned of it from his boss. I wish I had learned of Duty Tire and Auto years ago. I have now had them repair several cars, including A/C repair and new tires on a old Odyssey, timing belt and water pump service on a Pilot, and evaluation of an old Suburban. Every time their prices have been fair, the communication straightforward, and the service top notch. I particularly appreciate the way they don't try to sell services. They understand that doing maximal possible maintenance on an old car is often not the a common-sense approach. To give one example, I took a 20 year old truck in to them recently and after their evaluation, Chris told me candidly that he would not recommend putting more money in the truck.
